Middle aged man dressed smartly in a suit and hat, like a typical man from 1950s (this was in the ’80s). I only ever saw him when I was sat on the stairs at my granny’s house (I was a strange, quiet child - probably high functioning autism with selective mutism). He talked about coming home from work to his wife and baby but I never actually saw them. Still not convinced he wasn’t a ghost.
